This is a group supporting all perioperative nurses. The purpose of this group is to provide a safe space for perioperative nursing staff to gather and discuss their successes and challenges in the perioperative setting.
Group facilitators are experienced perioperative nurses who have leadership and teaching experience ranging from 5 to 20+ years.

Will have a voice chat meeting every 6-8 weeks.

This group is open to all perioperative nurses within Alberta. You do not need to be an ORNAC member.

I am pleased to announce that the honourable Sarah Hoffman,Minister of Health, is proud to
declare November 6-10, 2017 as Perioperative Nurses Week in Alberta. Barbara
Mushayandebvu, ORNAC President, Rana Sleiman, ORNAA President, and Darlene Rikley,
Alberta Director of ORNAC had the pleasure of being part of the proclamation at the Alberta
Legislature on November 7th, 2017. See video for legislature introduction and images of the
